Physical security Although the risk of being mugged/scammed/done over is very low (especially if you take the time to do a little research, as explained elsewhere), you can lower the impact of any such event quite easily. Only take in to a parlour/flat etc. what you can afford to lose – so take in the cash you need to pay the lady (no more than you need, unless you think you may extend the visit or leave a tip for the maid etc). Leave your wallet, any work or personal phones, ID badges, uniform or name tags etc at home or in the car. Park your car a little way from the address, so that you can take a look at the property as you approach – giving you the chance to bale out if things look wrong (e.g. group of people outside the property, police present, neighbours doing their front lawn etc). You can always walk past and give the lady a call from somewhere discrete if necessary, just to check if it is ok to turn up (especially if the neighbours are about!). If it doesn’t feel right, think with your head not your dick, turn around and leave (I left my wallet in the car can be a useful excuse if you’ve entered the property and aren’t feeling safe). If the door looks like it has been recently kicked in by the police during a drugs raid, maybe you should walk on by and find another lady! |
